WINEry FAQ |
Good food, good wine, good friends, good times |
What is there to do?
You can visit the Tasting Room for tastings or sales. We also encourage you to plan for a light meal where you can take a bottle of wine and a picnic basket of food and soak up the view in our picnic area. We offer a relaxing atmosphere with music and games for you and even the kids to enjoy.
What are the seating options?
You can sit at picnic tables, Adirondack chairs or lay out a blanket and make it a true picnic!
Where are your grapes grown?
We have two vineyards. One is in Kaleden, about 5 minutes south of Penticton on the west side of Skaha Lake. This is a beautiful location for cooler climate grapes. there is also a vineyard at the winery which is a much hotter growing site. This give us the opportunity to grow bigger reds in that spot.
Do you use sulphites in your wine?
Yes, sulphites play a very important role in protecting wine from bacteria growth and oxidation. However, it can be overdone so we strive to keep our sulphite additions to a minimum.
How long have you been open?
Our first tasting room season was in 2017 but, we have been making wine since 2015. Our personal wine experimentation started in 2011.
