White Wines
GU Gewurtztraminer 2022
We just call it Gu, and you can too. But for the curious it really means spiced or perfumed wine and once you know that, it can be hard to miss a GU. A perfect summer patio sipper.
Tasting Notes:
Juicy and refreshing orchard apple and pear with beautiful floral aromatics.
Via Viognier 2020
This beautiful grape variety originated in Rome and was transported along the outposts to Vienne. One origin story of the grape says it came from the Via Gehannae, (Road to Hell) alluding to the difficulty of growing this grape. It's all worth it.
Tasting Notes:
Luscious and creamy with honeysuckle and peaches.
Red Wines
Mistral Pinot Noir 2022
This grape is notoriously hard to grow and fickle as can be. It loves a good hillside but not too much heat, cold or rain for that matter. In fact this varietal if often called the heartbreak grape.
Tasting Notes:
Light and juicy, this pinot shows bright summer berries and reinforces each sip with solid tannin backbone and an long earthy finish.
Trio Meritage 2022
Meritage is a blend of two words Merit and Heritage, meat to be an hommage to the classic bordeaux style and the blend of these grapes. Traditionally a Bordeax or Meritage blends 3-5 grape varietals together.
Tasting Notes:
A deep dark chalky and spicy blend with black fruit and bold tannins.
Equinox Malbec 2019
Toasted in medium French and Hungarian oak for 21 months, this red stunner boasts smoky, meaty notes with lots of spice and is a bold wine bursting with dark fruit and a big mouthfeel.
This wine has great potential for ageing and can be delicious tonight with your favourite roasted pork or puttanesca or enjoy in a few years and your palette is sure to thank you.
